So you've probably noticed by now that I have an entire folder devoted to Spirit Drawings. And you're probably asking yourself, "Well, what's the difference between her regular paintings and her Spirit Drawings?" Let me tell you... Spirit Drawings were not pre-conceived paintings. I just let the paint take me wherever as I'm painting. I don't use penvil to draw them before-hand or anything. I sit down with my watercolor and a blank artist's pad and some music and go. I'm usually most proud of these drawings because I didn't agonize over them the way I do most of my artwork. And when they turn out awesome, that makes it even more fulfilling.
